A direct, touching, and often very funny film about the unusual life story of Tourette's syndrome awareness activist John Davidson.

2019. Britain's Queen is on the verge of presenting her Special Merit Medal when "Fuck the Queen!" is heard from the hall.
John Davidson was diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome at the age of fifteen. The disorder, which involves uncontrolled movement and voice tics, was little known at the time, much less understood. Despite all the difficulties, John struggles to live a "normal" life and finds some unexpected allies along the way. The film follows him through his tumultuous teenage years and into adulthood, when he finally finds his true life's mission.
